BAROQUE

Present in the foreground are the Oeuvres of the great composers of this period: J.S. Bach, G.Fr. Handel, G.Ph. Telemann, A. Scarlatti, A. Stradella, A. Vivaldi.

Beck's 'Stabat Mater' testifies that spectacular discoveries are also to be made in the vocal sector.

NEW MUSIC

The use of historical instruments opens a diverse timbral palette which provides new possiblities for musical works of our own time.
In several well-received appearances at festivals of the West German and Hessen Broadcasting Companies (WDR and HR), La Stagione performed Karlheinz Stockhausen's complete cycle Tierkreis in a version arranged for the ensemble by Michael Schneider.
